Gina Johnson, Owner, BA, CPDT-KA
Certified Professional Dog Trainer

Behavior Modification Specialist

Gina has trained well over a thousand dogs and their owners about communication, leadership and obedience.  She likes people as much as she likes dogs. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Animal Behavior from the University of Washington.  Gina Johnson of One Good Dog Professional Training is veterinarian recommended. Many of her clients call her a dog whisperer.

Gina completed an apprenticeship program at a respected canine training center where she was hired as a full time dog trainer. She trained nearly a thousand dogs who came for training camp and taught dog and puppy obedience classes, private lessons, and behavior evaluations.  

She has experience as an Instructor Assistant for the training department of Guide Dogs for the Blind, and as a Veterinary Assistant.  She has also worked and volunteered at a local service/therapy dog organization, a canine boarding facility, the Woodland Park Zoo, and a therapeutic equestrian facility for the disabled.  

Gina has participated in many training seminars and workshops by such internationally renowned professionals in positive training as John
Rogerson, Monty Roberts (a horse whisperer), and the Assoiation of Professional Dog Trainers.   She loves honing her skills and adding to her training repertoire through continuing education.

Gina is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the CCPDT.  Gina was certified in Pet CPR & First Aid through Pet Tech.
